Well, today was mom's 1st chemo treatment and all went well! She understandably was VERY nervous and anxious, but the actual treatment went good. She is now starting to feel...."FUZZY" as she likes to say....The doctor described what she would experience as a "chemo fog" but mom says it is more "FUZZY"....I guess it is one of those "have to experience it to understand" feelings! She is on some heavy duty nausea meds to help curb that major side effect.....so far so good!! Hopefully tomorrow will go just as well!! Her treatments will be every 2 weeks for the next several months.
Thank you all again for thinking of us and praying for her speedy recovery....at this point we are praying for minimal side effects!! Thank you all for your support! Check back for updates!
