Sorry it has been so long since I've posted! I know you all (or at least hope you all) have been checking-in to the blog to get an update on mom.....and I haven't been keeping up with my end of the deal!!!!!
In the week since I've last posted.....Mom has improved drastically!! She had her post-surgery follow-up with her surgeon Monday afternoon and he removed her drainage tube which has made her feel so much better....and now she actually gets to bathe!!!! (one of those things we completely take for granted!!) Her pathology report was also back and it revealed that 2 more nodes were positive for cancer....totaling 3.....but he is optimistic considering that 4 is the "cut-off" number for a bad prognosis. She just heard from her oncologist today and she will have her first chemo treatment next Wednesday. Basically she is still just doing alot of resting and recuperating!!!

I know you were unable to post on your blog because you were taking care of Faye. Again...THANKS You were a big help. I don't know how we would have done it with out you and Sharon helping out.
The next chapter in our lives starts next Wednesday.
