Food Chain in Progress....rather....Survival of the Fittest?!

Our sweet little kitten Boo is now a full fledged CAT!!

Brad and I promised Mallory when she was two that she could have a cat some day and of course, being the negotiator that she is wanted to know when....after thinking for a brief moment Brad came up with a date that seemed extremely far off and surely one she wouldn't remember...."when you turn 5!" That was all that was mentioned of the subject for almost 3 years until right around the time we began discussing plans for her 5th birthday....that is when it happened.... Mallory politely reminded us that she is due a kitten. So, being the good parents we are we had to follow through with our promise. Mallory and I adopted Boo from our local humane society last year around Halloween....hence the name "Boo". A sweet tiny little fur ball....that not only would be a great pet for Mallory but would also tolerate McCain!



Boo soon became a favorite of our family....even to someone in particular that is adamant about hating cats!!!




Boo also had the knack of finding the most comfy cozy places to sleep...and usually the quietest....




up until recently Boo has not wanted to go outside, but we finally figured out what the new interest was in the outdoors....




and once Boo decided that watching our feathered friends from the kitchen window was no longer fun...he began to zip past us every time we opened the door to stalk!





Boo has now become our personal "border patrol" and our once fun past time has become less and less frequent!
