Last night Mallory went to Kindergarten, I teared up, and of course Brad thought I was losing it! The kicker is that it wasn't even her first day of school....it was just open house for goodness sake!!! Yeah, I know....I must be crazy, right?? Well, I'm really trying to figure out how in the world I'm going to be able to handle it Friday morning at 7:45 when I have to let go of her precious hand and let her go to "big girl school" all day!! She has already informed me that I don't need to walk her into her class, like the teacher suggested......but surely she doesn't know who she is dealing with!! Not only will I walk her in, but I plan on holding her hand so tightly that I leave a nice little imprint of my hand on hers so that all day long she will think of me!!! Good idea, Right?? And I plan on staying until the nice old principle kicks me out for disrupting everyone with the flashing of my camera!! And then I plan on crying all day until it is time for me to go back to get her....which by the way did I mention she has to stay there all day, well, if you're like me and consider 2:45 all day! maybe I'll get her early...it is just the first day, she couldn't possibly be having that much fun!! right?
I know you are all saying....you've got to let her grow up some time....she's a big girl now....and all mom's feel this way......well, "patuoie" on ya'll!! This is just not fair!!!

Wow, I cannot believe Mallory is going to Kindergarten! Where is the time going? Her class looks fun and her teacher looks nice, so I think she will have a great year!!
You do all those things that you said you were going to do. You don't worry about what anybody says or thinks. I am crying as I look at the pictures. I can not believe that she has grown up. Tell her how much I love her please and how proud I am of her. Mimi
Time will fly by. Next she will be dating, then graduating, then college, then marriage, then she will probably move out of your house! McCain will be right behind her, and you will wonder WHERE did the time go?! Enjoy all the memories.
