We visited Brad's FAVORITE Aunt and Uncle some this summer (Gappi and Guc), and at one visit Guc presented the kids with their first ever fishing poles......it would be a true understatement to say they were excited. They had only been fishing before....with cane poles and alot of help, so this was a new deal all together.
Mallory had Shrek and McCain's was Nemo!!! They each came complete with a pair of matching sunglasses and carrying bag, along with a 'worm box'!
Now, surely you all know with me being the city girl that I am, real worms were not used!! therefore, not to spoil the fun, but you can probably figure we didn't catch anything.....they sure had fun trying!!!
First we practiced in the pool and then on to the lake. Mallory ended up being so good that she borrowed Gappi's "real" fishing rod and surprisingly was very good at it!! Maybe we have Pro Fisherwoman on our hands!!

Loved the post about fishing at Gappi and Guc's. Sure wish we had some pictures of the fish Mallory caught BY HERSELF at Nanny and Pepaw's.
