Tupelo Buffalo Park

Saturday we went to the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo....in the freezing cold....and mud!!! This was our first trip there, and surprisingly it was pretty fun!!! Cosidering that we live in such a small town, they had a lot of "wild" animals to see! Of course we are used to the zoos from Colorado....but for Mississippi it wasn't that bad! The kids enjoyed the goats the most...although, it took both of them awhile to get used to all the slobber!! McCain did NOT enjoy the wonderful smell!! As you can see in a couple of the pictures, he is holding his nose saying "shewwww~~~stinky"!!! The most exciting part for Brad and I was what they call "the people corral". The buffalo would come right up to the gate to eat from the bins....we had to restrain McCain to keep him from sticking his hands through! I guess once he got used to hand feeding the other animals it was all the same!!! All in all we had a great time!!!
