Mom has been taken back to surgery. We expect the procedure to last 2 hours and then recovery to last another 2 hours. A long day for us!! I drove up to Memphis from Tupelo early this morning.....Brad is playing mommy for the day.....thank you Brad for spending your one day off taking care of the domestic duties!!!! (oh, and also thanks for getting up early with me to make sure I got on the road in time!)
When they took mom back to do her pre-op stuff they put her in ROOM 13!!!! what were they thinking??? I mean, we are not TOO superstitious but seriously....room 13!!! They don't even have floor 13 at hotels.....why a room 13 at a hospital!!!
Mom was kinda bumbed going back into surgery.....we thought this was going to be an outpatient procedure but it looks like they will be keeping her over night.
I'll keep you posted as info comes to us!
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers!! I'm not superstitious but I definitely believe in the power of prayer!!!!!
