She has made it through surgery and is resting comfortably in doggie ICU. The surgery went "surprisingly well" according to the attending surgeon. They were able to remove the tumor in tact without substantial blood loss (no transfusion needed). She is not waking up easily but they figure that is due to her age and the amount of drugs they gave her during the procedure....so overall nothing has been too remarkable. I am supposed to get another update around 8 when her resident and student re-evaluates her and tries to get her up walking. Good luck with that girls....she tends to be pretty lazy even when not in a drug induced happy land!!
